Why do you even use Internet explorer? :/
April 16th, 2005 |
A list of a few Firefox extensions I use (Not all, just sharing the ones I
think might be useful):
Adblock
Filters ads from web-pages
BBCode
Adds BBCode and HTML to the context menu available on right clicking, allowing
you to make links, quotes, insert image tags etc easily.
ColorZilla
Extract colour from any part of a webpage. Accessible from the status bar. Also
provides the hex and CSS code for the colour for easy exportation into a image
editing or web authoring software. This is one of my favourite extensions,
helped me a lot while I was designing my website.
Dict
Highlight a word, Right click and press define to bring up its definition.
ReloadEvery
Want to keep up to date with say the latest posts on a forum?… this extension
reloads web pages (doesn’t matter which one it is) every so many seconds or
minutes according to your specification. Again accessible from the Right click
menu.
Translate
Will allow you to translate selected text be it a word or a paragraph to
different languages.
Word Count
A simple extension. Highlight some text. Right click and hit word count to
display how many words it contains.
Spellbound
A simple spell checker.
